The ACVC submitted to the Ministry of Finance a set of recommendations to boost and stimulate the Venture Capital industry in the country, the document is currently being studied by the Capital Markets Advisory Council. Among other proposals is the creation of a Fund of Funds to facilitate the investment of Pension Funds in assets, the elimination of the prohibition on the promotion of private investment funds and the rethinking of investments in foreign companies, as well as making it more flexible for Chilean investment funds to offer themselves to foreign funds.
