Last Friday, January 10, we held our first 2020 members' assembly, where the ACVC elected a new board of directors for this term. The president-elect was Andrés Meirovich BellolioManaging partner of Genesis Venturesvice president Francisco Guzmanpartner at Carey Abogados, in conjunction with the other principals Sofia Grez (CFO of ChileGlobal Ventures) Pablo Traub (Managing partner of Manutara Ventures) Sebastian Gonzalez (Head corporate venturing of Wayra Chile) y Rodolfo Soria-Galvarro Gubler (CEO Digevo Ventures). The objectives for this year are: to take the Venture Capital industry one step further, boosting the contribution of private financing for technology-based ventures, internationalization of startups in the portfolio of the funds, and cooperation, among other things, in the development of public policies that stimulate investment.
