Five ACVC members are among the emerging women in the VC industry.

The Latin American Venture Capital Investment Association (LAVCA) released its annual list of emerging women in the VC industry and several of ACVC's partner funds were well represented among the 135 standouts.

Congratulations to Antonia Brahm Justiniano, General Manager of Hero Capital; Lorena Gonzalez, Investment Associate of Aurus; MarĂa Sol Bertlshofer, Principal of Wollef; Adriana Coderch, Principal of The Yield Lab; and Graciela Budinich Villanelo, Principal of The Yield Lab LATAM.

In a DFMAS article on the ranking, Antonia Brahm commented that "women are no longer an exception in the financial industry in general and in venture capital in particular. This is good news for everyone, from investors to entrepreneurs. We have a lot to contribute and I hope that many more will continue to join a world in which we had tended to be on the sidelines".

Graciela Budinich added that there is still much to be done, not only in terms of gender diversity in the teams, but also in terms of cultural, geographic and expertise diversity, both in the investment teams and in the startups.
