The ACVC was once again present at the Innova Summit

ACVC members had a great participation in the Innova Summit 2023, the international meeting that seeks to take Chile to the next level in corporate venturing and CVC.

During the first day, Claudio Barahona (Alaya Capital) moderated the panel "CVC in Chile, opportunities and challenges", in which Bernardita Araya (CMPC Ventures), and Rodrigo Arias (Agrosuper), among others, participated.

While Eduardo Pelaez, Principal of Krealo, was part of the panel "The rise and consolidation of VC in Latam", and Magdalena Guzman, executive director of the ACVC, spoke about investment in technology and trends in VC and CVC.

The second day featured parallel sessions and several ACVC members participated in various panels: Guillermo Ferraro (Bice Ventures); Tomás Zavala (Consorcio); Marita Schmutzer (Falabella Ventures); Olivia Valdés (Fen Ventures); Markus Schreyer, (The Ganesha Lab); Santiago Caniggia (Mountain Partners); Varinka Farren (Hub APTA); Angel Morales (UDD Ventures); Anil Sadarangani (Universidad de los Andes (CL)); Cristián Andaluz (Chrysalis Incubator); and Felipe Cabezas (AceleraLatam).

Rodrigo Salcedo, corporate assistant manager of Electromobility at Emasa, spoke about the importance of corporate venturing in accelerating electromobility, and Lorena González (Aurus), Bernardita Araya (CMPC Ventures), and Stefanie Sherman (Digevo Ventures) shared the stage to discuss the opportunities and challenges of the investment ecosystem.
