Growing interest of large companies to invest in startups

Interesting and complete radiography of the corporate venture capital (CVC) industry published by El Mercurio, detailing who are the companies that do CVC, how much they have invested, and which are the new players, among others.
Chilean entrepreneurship has several corporate venturing initiatives, but over time they have also been moving towards equity investment, understanding that the returns are not only financial, but also strategic. Wayra Chile, Consorcio, ENGIE Factory, MASISA Lab, Digevo Ventures, güil Mobility Ventures, CMPC, WIND Ventures, BICE VENTURES are leading the initiatives.
ACVC gathers among its partners these players from large companies that finance startups . Years ago there were only a couple, but today there are more than seven, with more to come by 2021.
