The ACVC was part of the successful initiative: "From university to industry: UC- U Cambridge Summer School".
Organized by the Transfer and Development Department of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, together with the Research Office of The Chancellor, Masters and Scholars of the University of Cambridge, and in alliance with Carey, the course seeks to train professionals -both from the academic world and the productive sector- in charge of promoting university-business linkages.
The activities included a panel on venture capital in science and technology, organized by the ACVC, with the participation of Ignacio Merino, executive director of HubTec Chile, Bernardita Araya, manager of CMPC Ventures, Claudio Barahona, managing partner of Alaya Capital, and Varinka Farren, executive director of Hub APTA.
